May 25, 2004 - Press Release
GCR
awarded key
assignment with the Louisiana Housing Finance Agency
The
Louisiana Housing Finance Agency (LHFA) announced the award of the statewide
housing needs assessment to GCR. GCR will research key issues
affecting housing in Louisiana,
including changes in population; the trend toward smaller household
sizes; the increasing gap between income levels and housing costs;
and the age of existing housing stock. As part of this initiative,
GCR will design and develop a web-based application for the analysis and
mapping of data in all 64 Louisiana parishes.
GCR has completed similar assessments
for federal and state agencies, and has extensive experience in
the development and implementation of integrated mapping and
facility-based data management applications. This award
marks the beginning of a long-term partnership focusing on planning
and technological initiatives with the Louisiana Housing Finance
Agency.
