CASE STUDY
Catholic Mutual Group engaged GCR to develop a comprehensive facility and agreement management system for use by Catholic dioceses throughout the United States.
The Facility and Agreement Management Application is a derivative of a risk management application maintained by Catholic Mutual Group (CMG) of Omaha, an insurer that provides property and other liability insurance for more than half of the Catholic dioceses in the US. Data from the risk management system is shared in both a Facility Management module and an Agreement Management module. The Facility Management module addresses the physical attributes of properties insured by the Catholic Mutual Group and operated by individual dioceses. The Lease and Agreement management module provides individual dioceses the opportunity to enter and track relevant information about agreements and leases. All aspects of insurance requirements, terms, conditions, and operating parameters are included within the system. Additionally, each property and each lease is linked to an Internet based mapping service.
Users of the Facility and Agreement Management Application can view properties, leases, and agreements by the geographical attributes. The system offers a fully integrated messaging, document management, and ad-hoc reporting system. It was designed in conjunction with a “user group” to ensure that the focus of the application met the primary operating requirements of its users.
