During the recent historic Orleans Parish Municipal Elections on February 6, 2010, the GCR election team monitored voter turnout throughout the day. GCR has been actively involved in Election Day monitoring along with election results broadcasting for over 10 years. While the technology has evolved greatly, the goal remains the same: obtaining an accurate forecast of what is occurring in the field relative to participation that will affect the vote tally by candidate at end of the election event.

GCR’s services have evolved since its corporate beginnings in 1979.  Our skill and interest in managing planning projects and large data sets for corporate and governmental entities has lead to our contemporary capabilities in a variety of areas; but namely, in a specialization we call, “Elections.”  GCR has developed web-based tools to transform voter registration records, election information, and precinct geography into a robust set of applications to assist candidates, election officials/agencies, and the media in their understanding and analysis of elections.  Our election clients and our services are numerous and diverse.
