Agent
GCR & Associates
Inc. a professional consulting firm, is looking for an experienced
right-of-way & relocation agent to assist the
Real Estate Dept in our New Orleans office. Qualified candidates
should have a min of 5 yrs demonstrated experience in right-of-way
acquisition and relocation assistance, land titles & appraisal
concepts. An understanding of the Uniform Relocation Assistance & Real
Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 is requisite. College
degree is desirable but not required.
Ideal candidate should have flexibility to work on a number of public
works projects involving title & survey reviews, coord. of appraisal
reports, document preparation, negotiations w/ property owners, & the
admin. of relocation benefits to displaced tenants, homeowners and
businesses. Coord. & interface w/ clients & public
agencies is req'd. Candidate should be highly organized, possess exc.
oral & written
communication skills & be proficient w/ MS Word & Excel.

To research, design, develop, implement, and support software systems
for clients, with a focus on GIS related applications for law enforcement
agencies. The position will entail ascertaining client's needs, analyzing

installation procedures, creating tables and reports, and creating
interface. The position will require the use of VB, JavaScript, SQL,
PL/SQL, ASP, XML, ASP.Net, VB.Net, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, ArcInfo, ArcView,
ArcObjects, MapObjects, Oracle, WebDB, Oracle Spatial, Access, SQL
