CASE STUDY
GCR worked in tandem with the Archdiocese of New Orleans to create custom applications which address its specific needs and processes. The three software systems GCR has designed, developed and implemented for the Archdiocese are: Financial Assessments & Reporting, Insurance & Risk Management, and Facility Project Management Applications. Each offers the Archdiocese consolidated data management tools that facilitate projections, permit historical analysis, and enhance reporting capabilities.

The success of these applications at the New Orleans level has drawn national attention among other dioceses facing similar antiquated software limitations. GCR & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce that the Insurance & Risk Management and Facility Project Management Applications will be deployed nationally and custom tailored for each diocese.
Spotlighting the Financial Assessments and Reporting Application, one can see that GCR & Associates, Inc.'s team-based problem solving approach and constant collaboration with the client has resulted in a custom solution catered to the Archdiocesan workflow requirements. The application's consolidated financial reporting tools enable the Archdiocese to analyze and review individual parish's fiscal statistics over multiple years and to determine annual church taxes. Assessment computations also extend to insurance policies and priest retirement funds for parishes, parochial schools, and Catholic agencies. For long-range planning purposes, GCR & Associates, Inc. has incorporated demographic statistics by parish from the U.S. Census.
As with all GCR & Associates, Inc.'s customized software, the Archdiocesan applications are robust and scaleable, allowing for enhancements and future development to meet unforeseen needs and analytical solutions.
